It has an equipped location in the middle of the Delfzijl Chemical Cluster where start-ups and scale-ups can rent space to test their innovations in the demonstration phase (TRL-6/7/8 level ) safely, quickly and efficiently

This facility is a semi-industrial environment where knowledge institutes and businesses collaborate on innovative solutions for the biobased economy. Entrepreneurs contact the ZAP facility with applied research questions, and we use the experience of these entrepreneurs to market new biobased products or to make chemical and other processes more sustainable.

This 1MW Testcentre carries out research in technological development and the scaling-up of hydrogen production using electrolysis.

The Sustainable Polymer Innovation Cluster in Emmen offers the use of state-of-the-art equipment and services for polymer development. The focus is biobased or recycled plastics, and the products thereof. There is equipment for polymerisation, post-condensation, compounding, yarn spinning and 3D-printing. And it is available for all scales - from research to upsale to production scale.

Operates a professionally equipped laboratory that performs elaborate analyses, measurements and tests for polymers and biopolymers (ranging from granulate to thread), and also for quality checks and measuring water and air quality. This ensures that your product, process or working environment satisfies all the relevant quality requirements.

EnTranCe, the Centre of Expertise Energy, speeds up the transition to clean, renewable and affordable energy. It offers an inspirational setting, state-of-the-art facilities and technical support for product research, development and testing. These facilities include an interconnected energy bridge where projects can be tested as part of an integrated system.

The National Test Centre in Heerenveen aims to make plastic waste 100% reusable. In their industrial pilot environment, they test and investigate how plastics from household waste move through the sorting and washing process.

The NTCP can help you to:

- test new sorting and washing equipment

Green PAC is an open innovation centre for (green) plastics, fibers and composites. GreenPAC initiates and facilitates business-driven knowledge development, from fundamental idea to flourishing company. Various facilities, are on offer, so the business community can develop and implement innovative projects on favorable terms.

Located on Zernike Campus Groningen, offers flexible laboratory facilities for startups in chemistry. Fume hoods, benches, laboratory facilities and office space are available for rent. Besides laboratory space, Innolab Chemistry offers shared utilities and services such as purchasing, waste handling and analysis. Joining Innolab Chemistry will expand your network with a variety of companies in Life Sciences and Materials.

Part of a national consortium with the central aim to build up, maintain and provide a coherent and accessible infrastructure for nanotechnological research.

FACT is a Food Grade research and demonstration facility with modern food preparation equipment and focuses on product and process innovation in dairy, sauces and bakery. It is an easily accessible meeting place with processing equipment for pilots. New product and process concepts are developed in a close collaboration between SMEs, companies, and knowledge institutions.
