Chemport Europe at the international chemistry event Expoquimia in Barcelona

On 2-6 October the eighteenth edition of Expoquimia will take place, with more than 680 direct exhibitors. The show presents the latest products in the chemical sector at the biggest event for the chemical industry in Spain and southern Europe. Haverkate will enter the stage in the Marie Curie Area (pavilion 2) on October 3rd from 10.20 – 11.20 am.

Chemical cluster Emmen

Haverkate will represent the government part of Chemport’s triple helix. He’ll talk about one of Chemport Europe’s chemical clusters: Emmen, close to the German border. It’s known for its extensive and innovative chemical cluster, highly specialized in polymers, fibers and composites. A cluster where innovation, circular growth and the triple helix model are at the fore front of how the organisations work.

Off course Haverkate will also talk about Chemport Europe, the incubator for green chemistry. Chemport Europe offers a dynamic ecosystem for companies committed to a greener chemical sector. Finally, the presentation will focus on some experiences and more details about Groningen-Drenthe being one of the six European chemical model regions.
