Green Hydrogen (H2) will play an important future role in a sustainable energy system. Over 8,000 MWh of energy is generated in the form of electricity and heat in Chemport Europe. Sustainable heat accounts for 70% of Chemiepark Delfzijl’s requirements; additional solar energy and wind parks are under development accelerating the transition to green chemistry. The security of supply is extremely high.
Chemical and agricultural companies present in the Northern Netherlands could profit from a green hydrogen supply in combination with a green syngas (synthesis gas) and green carbon dioxide supply.
